Follow These Easy Steps to Apply
Step 1
Apply to the University of Dubuque (UDOnline)
Whether you’re a new or returning graduate student, the first step is to complete the University of Dubuque’s Online Graduate Application.
The University of Dubuque accepts applications throughout the academic year. Five start dates – fall I & II, spring I & II, and summer – allow you to start right away or whenever it’s best for you.
Step 2
Request Official Transcripts
Request official transcripts from your bachelor’s degree-granting institution and for any graduate-level coursework to be sent to:

Electronic transcripts may be sent to: registrar@dbq.edu
Unofficial transcripts may be used to expedite the admissions process. Please email a copy of your unofficial transcripts to online@dbq.edu or fax them to 563.513.2052.
Step 3
Apply for Financial Aid
Federal financial aid is available to those who qualify. If you wish to apply for financial aid, please complete the FAFSA using school code 001891.
Tip: Even if you do not qualify for grants or free aid, you may be eligible for loans or other sources of assistance. By filling out a FAFSA, you’ll have a complete picture of the options available to support investing in your education.
